For over 50 years, The Conservancy of Southwest Florida has been dedicated to preserving our unique natural environment and way of life. It all started in 1964, when a group of concerned citizens banded together to stop the construction of a roadway through Rookery Bay. Since then, The Conservancy has focused on protecting Southwest Florida’s land, water and wildlife.
The winning bidder’s party of six will indulge in a relaxing and informative cruise along the beautiful Gordon River, with a Naturalist Boat Captain as their guide to the wonders surrounding The Conservancy Nature Center. It’s a perfect experience for both families and lovers of the great outdoors, and don’t be surprised if you spot manatees and other unique marine life along the way. Following the cruise, you’ll enjoy lunch at Latitude 26 at the Hyatt House on Naples Bay.
Your day will conclude with a visit to the Nature Center, where you’ll visit the Shotwell Wavering Filter Marsh, the Christopher B. Smith Preserve and the von Arx Wildlife Hospital, where the staff cares for over 3,800 wild animals each year. After you encounter live animals in the Dalton Discovery Center, you’ll have an enhanced understanding of everything The Conservancy does to protect our unique environment. This lot is particularly well suited to families and children.
