Reclaiming The Everglades: Nightime Python Hunt

One (1) Python Hunt adventure with professional Amy Siewe to catch invasive Burmese Pythons for up to two (2) people

One Windley shoulder bag in platinum actually used in NBC Python Hunting Comedy Series, “Killing It”  from BSWANKY and an exclusive atelier and gallery experience for 10 people.

Native to Southeast Asia, the non-venomous Burmese python is one of the largest species of snakes, capable of growing to a length of 16 feet. It is an excellent swimmer and needs a permanent source of water, favoring swamps, grasslands and marshes.

In 1992, Hurricane Andrew was responsible for the destruction of a python-breeding facility and zoo in Dade county, causing these snakes to escape, spread and populate areas in the Everglades. Pythons eat many different kinds of animals, and studies show that pythons could very well be responsible for Everglades National Park’s mammal populations declining very sharply in number; these non-native, highly-intuitive predators have the biological upperhand and are rapidly taking over the native species in the Everglades ecosystem. Over 1,300 pythons have been captured to date, although the threat posed by them is still acute.

The winning bidder on this lot will have the chance to catch invasive Burmese pythons on a night hunt in the Everglades. Amy Siewe is a Professional Python Hunter contracted by the South Florida Water Management District to capture and euthanize the invasive Burmese Pythons that are now the apex predators in South Florida. Bid high and do your part for the preservation of Florida’s unique marine habitat!
