Welcome to Stoic & Genuine where they are fond of saying: fresh is everything—fish, oysters and happiness are flown in daily. The winners will enjoy lunch at this multi-coastal seafood house and oyster bar, which is committed to impeccably sourced, sustainable, creative seafood preparations and is located in Denver’s historic Union Station.
For dinner is Ultreia. Jasinski and Gruitch opened their newest restaurant in Union Station’s Great Hall based on the shared plate pintxos (pronounced peen chos) and tapas of the Iberian Peninsula countries of Spain and Portugal.
Amid hand-blown glass fixtures, a copper-topped bar, exhibition kitchen and simple décor that allows the food to shine, Rioja features a menu inspired by Mediterranean ingredients and influenced by local and seasonal products. The first of the duo’s outstanding restaurants is located in historic Larimer Square.
