The name The Ordinary comes from the old British term for a tavern that served a regular meal to its guests at a fixed price. A Southern seafood hall and oyster bar, The Ordinary celebrates the unique sea environments that produce the amazing variety of outstanding oysters found along the Coastal Carolinas and the East Coast.
Chef/Owner Mike Lata will treat four people to a three-course dinner paired with wines from coastal regions carefully selected to complement briny oysters and rich shellfish. The heart of the menu, of course, is the raw bar selection that goes beyond just oysters to highlight items like blue crab Louis, Nantucket Bay scallops and other delicious choices.
The high bidders on this lot will enjoy great food paired with great drink and friendly, detailed service against the backdrop of an historical Charleston building that has been transformed into a high energy, bustling American brasserie.
