This personally tailored farm-to-table luncheon for four people will include a chat with the chef at Peju about cooking techniques, wine pairings, working with fresh, farm-to-table ingredients and more. Following this one-of-a-kind culinary experience, your group will be treated to a private tour of the winery and a tasting in the Tower tasting room, the centerpiece of the Peju Estate, a rendering of which graces the label of every estate-bottled Peju wine. As you enjoy your tasting, you’ll learn about Peju’s history, winemaking style and the story behind each wine.
Peju’s Rutherford Estate is comprised of a total of 30 acres, 22 of which are planted with the five traditional Bordeaux varietals of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Petit Verdot.
Your sommelier-led tour will be a sensory experience, so prepare your eyes, olfactories and mind for this exploration of Cabernet Sauvignon—it’s history, the mysteries of French and American oak, various toasting levels and the Valley’s terroir and climate.
