I know a place where the music is fine, and the lights are always low. I know a place where we can go.

            -Petula Clark

There is a place, a secret place. A place where musicians and artists of all stripes congregate; week after week, year after year. Like the layers on a pearl, time and the efforts of dozens of artists have created a spectacular space; a haven for creativity hidden within the mundane walls of a non-descript warehouse complex.

Formally, perhaps, it is known as Live Art Naples. To many, it is simply "the Band Room," and it has featured both local talents and the visiting guests, including Grammy-Award winners who have shown up to jam. Each evening's lineup helps to chart a new course for Live Art and the Band Room, every time its doors open.

The drummer who sets the tempo that is the heartbeat of this hidden gem is NWWF Patron Scott Wiesen. Live Art's doors will open for a special event for up to 12 people, catered and featuring some of the finest wines from the cellars of both Scott Wiesen and Desmond Hussey, such as Aubert, Kosta Brown and Carter Cellars as well as aged Bordeaux and Rhone wines.

Grab your favorite pair of blue jeans and let's jam together, as this Bohemian evening will have a full band of local musicians, joined by guest artist and Grammy Award-winning country recording star, Billy Dean. Live Art will be in full swing with Juan Diaz, one of Collier County's most celebrated and respected local artists, painting a custom painting during the event. The painting will be auctioned at the end of the evening, with one-half of the proceeds benefitting the NCEF.

Prepare for a magical yet casual evening of fun, music, great wine and art; an evening where anything can happen and the script has yet to write itself.
