3 – 3 Liter 2009 Archery Summit Vineyards Pinot Noir
Three (3) nights’ accommodations in the Archery Summit Winery vineyard guesthouse for three (3) couples
A winery tour and tasting for three (3) couples
From the private cellars of Archery Summit Winery, vinified and stored with passion.
Years before most people thought Oregon could successfully rival Burgundy, Pinot Noir was being made at Archery Summit. The winery was established in 1993 by Gary Andrus, who had been growing Cabernet Sauvignon at Napa’s Pine Ridge estate since 1978; Andrus has a firm belief that the Dundee Hills had similar growing conditions to Burgundy, and that it could turn out an inspired version of wine’s most fickle grape. There are now five estate vineyards and three grower sites sprinkled throughout four American Viticultural Areas, producing Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and vineyard-designated Pinot Noir. The winery is environmentally conscious and committed to sustainability, with most of the vineyard sites LIVE certified.
Three couples will be treated to a three-night stay at the Red Hills Guest House, set among the vines on the Archery Summit grounds with views of the Dundee Hills, Mt. Hood and Mt. Jefferson. Amenities include a full kitchen and outdoor deck, fireplace, carport, wine fridge, jetted tub and wireless Internet access. During your stay, you’ll receive a private winery tour and curated tasting with winemaker Ian Burch. Each of the couples will also take home a 3 Liter (Double Magnum) bottle of 2009 Archery Summit Pinot Noir from the Summit Vineyard.
INSIDER’S INFO: Visit to be scheduled for mutually agreeable dates and will expire on January 31, 2021. The wine will be shipped directly to the winning bidder or can be picked up during the visit. Accommodations, airfare and ground transportation are not included.
