A Chef’s Table dinner with wine and cocktail pairings at Bellecour in Wayzata, Minnesota for four (4) people
It’s no surprise to anyone who has followed Chef Gavin Kaysen’s career that he would open a classic French bistro. The two-time James Beard Award winner served as Director of Culinary Operations for Daniel Boulud before returning home to Minneapolis to launch Spoon and Stable. His second venture, Bellecour, is named for the bustling town center of Place Bellecour in Lyon, France. The restaurant pays homage to that city’s rich culinary tradition and to his mentors and Lyon natives, Daniel Boulud and Paul Bocuse. A founding member of the nonprofit ment’or BKB Foundation, Kaysen serves as President of Team USA in the prestigious international culinary competition, the Bocuse d’Or, often referred to as the “Olympics of cooking.”
The winning bidder’s party of four will dine at Bellecour’s Chef’s Table, amidst the bustle of the restaurant’s open kitchen. In addition to receiving a close-up view of operations, you’ll be treated to a multi-course feast prepared by Chef Kaysen and his team, accompanied by a curated cocktail and wine pairing. From a stunning seafood platter to a beautifully simple roast chicken or bouillabaisse to wagyu hanger steak with pommes frites, your menu will be specially designed for an evening your party will always remember. Finally, your dinner would not be complete without a selection of desserts from James Beard-nominated Pastry Chef Diane Moua.
