Dinner with wine pairings at The Surf Club Restaurant in Miami Beach, FL for four (4) people
It’s hardly an exaggeration to say that Thomas Keller has been recognized as America’s most talented and accomplished chef for the past two decades. A Florida native, he grew up in a restaurant family; Keller’s mother used to put him in the kitchen when her cook got sick, and he worked as a dishwasher at the Palm Beach Yacht Club during his teenage years. He catapulted to fame as the chef/proprietor of The French Laundry in Yountville, which earned Three Michelin stars and became the most sought-after restaurant table in the country; his Manhattan restaurant, Per Se, has also been awarded Three Michelin stars.
The Surf Club is Keller’s first Florida restaurant, opened in the iconic Miami Club in the town of Surfside. The beaded ceilings, terrazzo floors and Art Deco chandeliers pay homage to the glamor of the 1930s. The winning bidder and his or her party of four will be treated to dinner with wine pairings at The Surf Club and experience Continental cuisine reinterpreted for the modern era. Whether they choose classics such as Caesar Salad prepared tableside, double oxtail consommé, Dover sole meunière or lobster thermidor, they’ll be in the hands of a master.
