Chef’s demonstration class and Champagne lunch at Sea Salt in Old Naples for twenty (20) people
When Fabrizio Aielli moved to Naples, he was already an accomplished chef. Along with his wife, Ingrid, he had operated three highly successful restaurants in Washington, D.C.: Goldoni, Osteria Goldoni and Teatro Goldoni. After growing up near the water in Venice, Italy, Aielli felt immediately at home here in Naples, substituting fresh Gulf seafood for the Adriatic fish he knew so well. He initially came to Naples in 2005 to cook for the Naples Winter Wine Festival and felt a close kinship to the area. Sea Salt was where his Florida career started. The restaurant opened in November 2008 and was an immediate sensation, earning the accolade of “Best New Restaurant” in Esquire magazine.
The lucky winning bidder and 19 of his or her closes friends will experience a close-up demonstration of Aielli’s technique. Sea Salt uses organic and local produce, wild caught seafood, poultry and meat raised naturally without hormones, antibiotics or animal by-products whenever possible, but the expert hand of the chef is what turns those ingredients into world-class cuisine. The cooking demonstration will be followed by a Champagne lunch featuring the best of Sea Salt: raw shellfish and crudo, house made pasta, artfully constructed sandwiches and salads, and fish straight from the sea and off the grill.
INSIDER’S INFO: The luncheon and chef demonstration are to be booked on a mutually agreeable date and are subject to availability. Demonstration and lunch must be scheduled at least 30 days in advance. Tax and gratuity are not included.
