Crave Culinaire sprang from the brain of chef Brian Roland in 2013. Roland was no ordinary chef: a CIA (Culinary Institure of America) grad who trained under Daniel Boulud, he had been executive chef at Cru in Fort Myers and Chops City Grill in Bonita Springs, before becoming in charge of the kitchen at M Waterfront Grille in Naples. From the beginning, Crave Culinaire aimed to be “a restaurant without barriers,” whether the occasion was a cocktail party, cooking class or catered dinner in a private home. “For us, there is no such thing as formulaic or cookie-cutter events,” says Roland. “Each occasion is unique and directed by the client’s individual dream.”
Chef Roland and Crave Culinaire will craft an unforgettable dinner party for the winning bidder and his or her group of 12. The chef’s dishes will be paired with the memorable Cabernet Sauvignon wines of Hundred Acre in Napa. Created by Jayson Woodbridge in 2000, the vines are picked grape by grape and crafted into wine by the superstar winemaker Philippe Melka. They are only available through a mailing list, so the opportunity to taste them alongside Roland’s cuisine will be truly special.
The menu for this unique dinner is anticipated to be as exotic as the wines. Chef Brian will team with the winning bidder to craft a series of courses that will be as bold and unexpected as Jayson Woodbridge. If you think about exotic countries, safaris, untamed experiences, and over the top emotions, then you are on the right track.
INSIDER’S INFO: To be scheduled for a mutually agreeable date and not available on holidays. Food, chefs, a server and wine to be included. Tables, linens, plateware, flatware, glassware, floral and the like are subject to separate arrangement with the winning bidder. Venue to be selected and managed by the winning bidder.
