This superb evening, hosted by NCEF Trustees and owners of The Cave- Bistro & Wine Bar, Laura and Jim Dixon, will feature the best wines of the Old and New Worlds and will be complemented by the cutting-edge cuisine of Chef Brooke Kravetz and her culinary team from The Cave-Bistro and Wine Bar.

The party starts between the Dixon’s exotic car collection with a rare vertical wine tasting of 1992,1993,1994,1995,1996 and1998 vintages of the world renowned Colgin Herb Lamb Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from the Laura and Jim Dixon’s private wine collection. This wine tasting before dinner will be presented by Certified Level 3 Sommelier Mladen Stoev with his review and tasting notes of the vintages.

Ann Colgin is the heart of Colgin Cellars, a true renaissance woman and vintner of uncommon passion. An avid art collector and dedicated philanthropist, her elegant, yet engaging personality is a telling reflection of her wines and winery. Ann founded Colgin Cellars in 1992 with a vision of making the finest wines from exceptional hillside vineyards in St. Helena and was instrumental in forging a world-renowned reputation for California’s small production hand-crafted wines.

Next, before dinner, you will cleanse your palate with a magnum of KRUG Champaign Brut Grand Cuvee as you stroll through the fabulous wine display room and expansive climate-controlled case storage area.

You will follow this unforgettable experience with a delicious multi-course dinner menu designed and prepared by The Cave’s Executive Chef Brooke Kravetz and each course paired with more wines from the Dixon’s cellar with a magnum of 2013 Le Cailleret Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Domaine de Montille, a magnum of 2005 OPUS ONE and with desert a 750 ml of 1985 GRAHAM”S Vintage Port. Inclusive of your groups agreed menu preferences, this spectacular dinner combined with the rare and exclusive wines will take the evening to new heights and memories that will last forever.
