One (1) made-to-measure men’s suit by Hickey Freeman or Samuelson from John Craig Clothier
When it comes to menswear, ready-to-wear and made-to-measure suits exist in different universes. Ready-to-wear suits are mass produced and machine-made; designed to fit millions (or tens of millions), they probably fit no one properly. While they are less expensive than custom-made suits, they almost always need alterations which narrows the price difference considerably.
With a custom-made suit, you have the opportunity to choose both the materials and style of the garment. You can customize many details, such as fabric, pockets, buttons, single or double breasted, jackets’ lining and lapels, trouser length and pleats as well as internal embroidery. You end up with a suit that truly fits you, since it has been tailored to your exact measurements.
John Craig has been a leader in fine menswear since opening his first store in Winter Park, Florida in 1996. His goal is “to provide exceptional, timeless menswear for the sophisticated man with individualized and unparalleled customer service.” In creating your suit, his tailor will work with you and painstakingly take all the needed measurements. It may take more than one visit, and your suit could take up to four weeks to complete, but when it’s ready you’ll have the satisfaction of looking as good as you possibly can look.
INSIDER’S INFO: Appointment with the tailor at John Craig is to be scheduled for a mutually agreeable date. Package has no cash value and is nontransferable. Additional clothing can be purchased at the winning bidder’s expense.
