An original 48 x 48-inch acrylic painting “Two By Sea” by Rachel Pierce, a local Southwest
Florida NBC News Anchor or a custom piece of same or lesser dimensions

If you watch TV in Southwest Florida, Rachel Pierce is probably a regular visitor to your living room. Rachel is the co-anchor of NBC2 News Today on WBBH in Fort Myers, Florida. From 4:30am to 7:30am, her responsibilities are wide-ranging: station newscast, radio briefs, “TODAY Show” cut-ins and more. She’s known at the station as the “mom social media queen” because of all the viral and exclusive stories she obtains from Facebook groups where she has a large following. A firm believer in giving back, Rachel is active in local charities such as Ronald McDonald House, The Lighthouse for the Blind and Mighty Mike Foundations.

What most viewers don’t know, however, is that Rachel studied art as well as journalism at Oklahoma State University and remains an avid painter. She draws her inspiration from the natural beauty around her, with canvases ranging from acrylic underwater scenes featuring seahorses or sea turtles to oil paintings of native flowers. Vividly colored and evocative of the landscape around us, this painting will brighten any room you hang it in.

INSIDER’S INFO: Winner must arrange pick-up with Rachel or pay for shipping if outside of the Southwest Florida area.
