A night tour of the zoo with night vision goggles
A special up-close animal encounter
Zoo memberships for each couple
Naples Zoo and Caribbean Gardens, a 43-acre zoo and historic botanical garden, began in 1919 with the first plantings by Dr. Henry Nehrling. With exhibits set along a mile of paved path, it is a conservation zoo that emphasizes natural animal behavior; it also stresses education and allows visitors to take a hands-on approach. Some of its features include “Meet the Keeper” question and answer sessions, close encounters with alligators at Alligator Bay, and the Primate Expedition Cruise along a series of small islands housing endangered species.
The winning bidder’s party of eight will dine privately with Jack Mulvena, a natural conservation leader who joined the zoo as CEO in 2013. Afterward, they’ll don their night vision goggles for a tour of the grounds, including the chance to get up close and personal with some of the animals. This lot also comes with memberships for each couple, which include many valuable benefits: free admission for one year; discounts on adult and child guests, gift shop purchases and Café Roar; free admission to the Conservation Lecture Series, as well as discounts on Camp WILD. It’s a great opportunity for the entire family to enjoy the zoo experience together.
