Pasta dinner with wine for up to ten (10) guests

Grape pomace is distilled into brandy in many countries around the world, but in Italy that process has become a fine art: grappa is now refined enough to be consumed both before and with a meal, as well as after. Grappino, the fourth restaurant in the Aielli group, is a celebration of the rustic regional cooking of Italy, bolstered by one of the largest grappa bars in the country with over 100 varieties.

When it comes to pasta, the choices are dazzling. “There are 13 different sauces and 13 different pastas,” says Jason Goddard, Aielli’s corporate chef, who worked closely with Fabrizio Aielli during the process of menu development. “There are 169 possible combinations you can do. You can switch and mix and match.” Begin by choosing the type of pasta (dried, egg or stuffed), then determine the type of preparation and sauce.

Your party of 10 will have a memorable evening in Grappino’s modern, relaxed atmosphere. The Aiellis kept the original Naples Cottage design and commissioned award-winning designer Suzanne Costa to complete the interior. Highlights include the live edge tables and bar, organically sourced in Fort Myers from indigenous trees, and the colorful Murano glass balloons that provide a reminder of Fabrizio’s native Venice.
