Located in St. Helena, Tra Vigne Pizzeria was one of the pioneers in Napa Valley dining in its reinvention as a purveyor of artisan pizza and rustic Italian dishes. The current chef, Nash Cognetti, started in the kitchen at the age of 12, worked in some of California’s best restaurants, and has shared his culinary skills at the Naples Winter Wine Festival.
The winning bidder will receive a private online class with Chef Cognetti and learn how to make a perfectly round, crispy and delicious pizza in their home oven—no pizza stone required. Class includes pizza kits shipped from the restaurant with enough dough and toppings to make two perfect pizzas. Along with the ingredients, you’ll also receive two bottles of Aprile, the “Super Oakville” blend from Gargiulo Vineyards in the tradition of the great Super Tuscans. A blend of 96% Sangiovese and 4% Cabernet Sauvignon from the Money Road Ranch vineyard, Aprile is a limited-production wine that highlights the pure essence of the Sangiovese grape.
