3 – 1.5 Liter Spottswoode Estate Cabernet Sauvignon (1 each: 2015, 2016 and 2017)
3 – 750ml Spottswoode Estate Cabernet Sauvignon (1 each: 2015, 2016 and 2017)
Few Napa wines possess the elegance, structure and finesse of Spottswoode Cabernet Sauvignon. Originally established in 1882, the 46-acre estate on the western edge of St. Helena was purchased in 1972 by Mary Weber Novak and her late husband, Dr. Jack Novak; the property today is run by her daughters, Beth Novak Milliken and Lindy Novak. The organically farmed vineyard is surrounded by classic formal gardens and produces one of the most sought-after Cabernets in the Valley.
This lot’s winning bidder will have a rare opportunity to own a mini-vertical of Spottswoode Cabernet, in both 750ml bottles and Magnums, from three amazing vintages. Both the 2015 and 2016 were rated a perfect 100 points by Robert Parker, Jr., who called the 2015 “truly stunning” and praised the 2016’s “fantastic core of intense, complex layers.” These bottles will provide hedonistic enjoyment for years and decades to come.
INSIDER’S INFO: Wines will be shipped directly to the winning bidder.
